We discovered this gem while on our way to Victor Hugo's home across the plaza. We made reservations for Wednesday night August 20, 2025. It was not busy with many tables available. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with its antique furniture and low ceilings, and a strong emphasis on French cuisine complemented by excellent service. I started with the escargot, served with fresh bread, and it was outstanding. Our waiter suggested a red wine that paired perfectly with the escargot. I also ordered the onion soup and the cheese plate, both of which were very good. For dessert, I enjoyed the mango sorbet and the hazelnut ice cream, and both were delicious. The server was knowledgeable and patient, offering great suggestions without pressuring us to choose more expensive dishes or rush our meal. The plates came in perfect timing. MA Bourgogne truly deserves five stars. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return on my next trip to Paris.

Wish I could give more stars. My favorite atmosphere out of any cafe I’ve been to in Europe. Staff is wonderful, attentive, friendly. I had escargot and it was perfect. A little more in the pricey end hut you get what you pay for here. Lovely location too- right across from the park.

An ideal version of proper traditional French cuisine with a view on the famous Place des Vosges. Friendly, efficient and attentive staff, a classic menu, a nice atmosphere with historical references, an interesting selection of wines, and offering a pretty good quality / price ratio. Ma Bourgogne is a very enjoyable French bistro for lunch or dinner, or anytime, actually as they offer non stop service! We had the very French escargots / snails, onion soup, andouillette & frites, with a delicious mustard sauce, the salmon with spinach abd we finished with profiteroles (well balanced flavours, tasty icecream, grilled almonds) and the generous tarte tatin.

We had such a wonderful dinner tonight. The food was great, the view was so nice (we were sitting outside). We had onion soup, cheese platter, artichoke and of course beef bourguignon. For dessert we had the apple tart. On top of that, service was great, Arnaud was super nice and made us feel so comfortable.

Amazing views and Parisian vibes from this cozy restaurant at Place des Vosges. Our breakfast here was a very nice start to an early walk through Le Marais neighborhood. Take your time to sit for a while and enjoy their coffee and pastries. I guess it would be a great choice for dinner and lunch too. Next time in Paris!

My wife was kind enough to make a booking for us to have dinner on a Friday evening. Thanks to the weather, it was still warm enough to sit outside and it adds to the atmosphere. We shared an Oeufs Meurette to start, and I had the Boeuf Bourgignon, whilst she had the Truffle Pasta and we shared a Crêpe Suzette for dessert. Along with a bottle of Chateldon water and an espresso the total bill was € 81.00, which was good value. The service was the stand out for us though, the servers were warm, engaging, attentive and genuinely lovely people. Highly recommended...
